Basic Systematic Civics – Levels 1 & 2

In this Basic Systematic Civics class, you will first analyze the theoretical concept of government as a system and the maintenance principles related to systems in general. Second, you discover government system philosophy and design tension of layer and marble cake federalism. Finally, you are introduced to the current system structure of U.S. government.

There are seven (7) hands-on training exercises to be completed after the class (located at the end of your workbook). Workbooks are included with your registration.

The completion of this class and associated training exercises are pre-requisite to taking Advanced Systematic Civics training classes and fundamental to the successful completion of the course. The class is 4-5 hours and training exercise completion typically takes 5-6 hours.


  • Prior Foundational Civics students may review this class for $20.
  • Online attendees must register at least two (2) full weeks prior to class to be guaranteed on-time delivery of their workbook (included in registration fee). Workbooks are sent USPS Media Mail.  Students also have the option to pay the additional shipping fee for faster delivery. Contact us for details.
