Partisan Politics: The Evolution of Polarization | LIVE: ONLINE | October 16th, 2024

This course explores the evolution of the American political system, beginning with George Washington’s Farewell Address and the formation of the party system. It covers key developments such as the emergence of the Democratic and Republican parties, the impact
of the Civil War on politics, the rise of the Progressive Party, and the transformation of partisan politics from the 1950s to the present.

This course contributes to the completion of the Apprentice Certification in Societal Self Governance.

Tuition: $25 per student.  2 hours.

We do not offer refunds for any of our online Zoom classes. Once a registration fee has been paid, it is non-refundable. We understand that circumstances may change, but due to the nature of our online classes and the resources invested in preparing for each session, we are unable to accommodate refund requests.

In the event of unforeseen technical difficulties or cancellation of a class by Center for Self Governance, we will make every effort to reschedule the session or provide alternative arrangements. However, refunds will still not be issued.
