UNDERSTANDING GOVERNMENT STRUCTURES
Introduction to Government Structures (3 hours/Live or online-live)
This is our original Foundational Civics course. Students will learn basic Government Structures, understand concepts of Power, System, and Control, and identify jurisdictional boundaries and controls.
Cost: $50 per adult; $40 per student under age 18; $20 audit
School Government
This is a two hour overview of school government structures, as defined by your state constitution and laws, that affect your educational stakeholder responsibilities.
Cost $25 per person.
City Government
This is a two hour overview of city government structures, as defined by your state constitution and laws, that affect your local stakeholder responsibilities.
Cost $25 per person.
County Government
This is a two hour overview of county government structures, as defined by your state constitution and laws, that affect your political participation and influence at every level of government.
Cost $25 per person.
Regional Government
This is a two hour overview of regional government structures, as defined by your state constitution and laws, that affect your regional stakeholder responsibilities.

STATE CONSTITUTION STUDY PROGRAM
State Constitution Classes (Online/Live)
The state constitution study program exposes the student to 1) the state’s organization of control between elected, appointed, and employed governing; 2) distribution of power between the departments of state government; and 3) the legal subdivisions within the state.
Time: 2+ hours per class (minimum 10 hours for the entire course)
Cost: $25 per person per class
A state-specific workbook is an additional $13 OR $20, depending on the state
- C100 – Introduction to Your State Constitution: Learn your State’s connection to the U.S. Constitution, the creation of Your State’s Constitution, and its Pre-Amble and Article 1.
- C200 – Legislative Department: Learn the structure and operation of your State’s Legislative Branch.
- C300 – Executive Department: Learn the structure and operation of your State’s Executive Branch.
- C400 – Judicial Department: Learn the structure and operation of your State’s Judicial Branch.
- C500 – Local Government: You will learn the structure and operation of your State’s Regional, County, City/Town, and School governments

Block 1 - Introduction to the Systematic Politics of Layer & Marble Cake Federalism
Students will distinguish Partisan from Systematic Politics, learn the origins of Systematic Politics, and identify the Systematic Politics of Layer and Marble Cake Federalism. The student completes Block 1 training exercises before moving onto Block 2. These exercises are applicational and necessary to implement lessons learned throughout the remainder of the course.
Block 2 - Competitive Systematic Politics: Outside Gaming - Empowering the Governed
Students will analyze the Systematic Politics of Layer and Marble Cake Federalism, study Partisan Political cycles, its influence on the Governed’s decision-making & behavior, and develop Systematic Political strategies to compete on the chessboard of Layer and Marble Cake Federalism. The student completes Block 2 training exercises before moving onto Block 3. These exercises are applicational and necessary to implement lessons learned and applied in Block 3.
Block 3 - Competitive Systematic Politics: Inside Gaming - Confining the Governing
The Block 3 course is the capstone. Students will analyze the Systematic Politics of Layer and Marble Cake Federalism, study Partisan Political cycles, its influence on the Governing’s decision-making & behavior, and develop Systematic Political strategies to compete on the chessboard of Layer and Marble Cake Federalism. The student completes Block 3 program requirements to graduate the CSG training program.

Relationship Building

The CSG graduate will conduct a personal relationship analysis and development strategies for maximizing their credibility and influence.
