In this four (4) part series, first, you will explore your own human nature and its impact on RB. Second, you will discover how your relationship skills are refined or damaged in social (i.e family, friends, etc.) settings. Third, you learn how to navigate relationships within your community. Finally, you will discover how to leverage society’s impact on you, your family, and your community. Communication messaging skills are critical to everyday life. First, you will examine the framework and process of human communications. Second, you will scrutinize barriers to communication. Third, you will analyze key ingredients for effective messaging. Finally, in a classroom exercise, you will craft and deliver a practice message. Building Credibility & Growing Influence
Credibility and influence are by-products of relationship building through communication & messaging. First, you will define and identify different types of credibility. Second, you will survey different tools for building credibility in your relationships. Third, you will define and identify different types of influence. Finally, you will study factors for exerting influence and the Influence Life-Cycle. We hope this class will act as a springboard, encouraging you to take CSG’s Foundational & Applied Civics training in the future!
